Community impact

Working towards meaningful, lasting change

Our commitment is to create genuine community benefit. As a developing organisation, the outcomes below describe what we intend to achieve and how we will hold ourselves accountable.

Community benefit

Our commitment to community benefit

As a Community Interest Company, community benefit is not an add-on. It is the reason we exist. Every activity we develop is assessed against a simple question: does this help people in our community to feel more connected, supported and able to thrive?

We are committed to being honest about our progress, learning from what works and adapting where it does not.

Intended outcome

Community partnerships

Stronger links between organisations working for local benefit.

Building social connections

We aim to create regular, low-pressure opportunities for people to meet, helping friendships form and reducing the isolation that so many people quietly experience.

Supporting inclusion and opportunity

We want everyone to feel welcome in community life, regardless of background, and to have fair access to information, activities and opportunities.

Skills and empowerment

Through mentoring and workshops, we hope to help people build practical skills, self-belief and the ability to make informed decisions for themselves.

Partnership and community collaboration

By connecting with other local organisations, we aim to strengthen the network of support available and make sure people reach the right help.

Accountability

How we intend to measure impact

We are committed to understanding the difference our work makes, using proportionate and respectful methods.

  1. 01Recording participation in activities, with consent and in line with data protection law
  2. 02Gathering feedback from participants about their experience and wellbeing
  3. 03Tracking signposting and referrals to partner organisations
  4. 04Monitoring volunteer involvement and the hours contributed
  5. 05Reviewing progress against our intended outcomes each year
  6. 06Reporting openly through our annual CIC community interest report
